Serra Token

Here's a commission type I really like. The Client just said "I want a card that says next turn. Put whatever you want on it". And so I did.
My inspiration for this was the design of Piatnic playing cards. My parents had an old-school set of those with really nice and detailed pictures on them. I went from there and used one of the fairly new MtG Planeswalkers on it: Serra (as portrayed by Magali Villneuve on a still not released card).
I started out by sketching the character in my Moleskine and dropping it into Procreate. I did all the linework in Procreate using the amazing brush set by Bakeroner.
I wanted the linework to be nice and clean like in Marvel style.

Before finishing the project on my PC I coloured it all in Procreate again. I did only one half and then flipped the other half, merged and added the text in final version.
